Photoshop Extras: BW / Color Pictures

This one is partly in black and white and mostly in color. The berries are also notably darker.

This was the original.

Frozen Time/ Blur Time Project

This is an example of panning because I followed the balloon as it flew around. I used a 80 speed ISO and the aperture was 5.6. I didn't edit this photo.

For this photo I used blurred hand lights in the dark to create really neat patterns. I really enjoyed creating these types of pictures. I used a 2.7 aperture and an ISO of 80. For edits I used exposure, 100% contrast, no highlights and some clarity.

For this one I did the same thing as the one above but with similar edits.

This is an example of frozen motion because of how the balloon is perched right on the edge of the hoop. Aperture was 3.0 and ISO was 80. I used a lot of contrast, hardly any clarity and many highlights and shadows.

Extra Martinez Marina Pics

Liquid Fireworks!

For this photo I took a picture of red dye in green water and inverted it in Photoshop. Then I used a little bit of posterize and also played with the levels. I really like the contrast of blues in this photo, and it sort of reminds me of a lava lamp.

Photoshop Fruit Tutorial

(I didn't want to make this a killer fruit by adding any blood.)

For this project, I relied on mostly working with photoshop layers by exporting an image of a yawning tiger from Google. Using the lasso tool I cut out the mouth and positioned it on the side of the apple. I had to duplicate the layers and selected the clone tool to get rid of the side of the apple that wasn't needed.  The layer mask was necessary for putting together the mouth.
